With Us Since Day One
Visionaries Driving Innovation
We are supported by a strong ecosystem of innovation experts, incubators, public institutions, and industrial partners committed to transforming the recycling of complex blended-fiber materials containing high-value polyamide. Together, we are shaping a future in which every textile waste stream has the potential for a second life.
By combining expertise, innovation, and industrial ambition, we are helping build a more circular economy where valuable resources remain in use for longer and waste becomes a source of new opportunities.
Regulatory
Context
Creation of the Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) Scheme for Textiles, Household Linen and Footwear (TLC). REC is referenced as a recycler for the entire sector via the ReCYCLE platform.
+ Additional EPR Schemes: Automotive, Sports and Leisure Equipment, Furniture, Toys, DIY and Gardening Products, etc.
AGEC Law
Ban on the destruction of unsold non-food products, expansion of repair funds, harmonization of consumer information (sorting instructions), and strengthened requirements for waste prevention and eco-design.
+ Non-Financial Reporting: CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive)
European Commission
Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR). Digital Product Passport (DPP).
+ Upcoming Regulation: Proposed Bill to Reduce the Environmental Impact of Fast Fashion
Increasing use of recycled materials, supported by mandatory minimum incorporation rates and annual reporting to ADEME.
• Enhanced traceability of raw materials throughout the value chain
• Rollout of the Digital Product Passport (DPP)
• Stricter eco-design and sustainability requirements
• Expansion of textile reuse and recycling ecosystems
• Measurement, management, and reduction of product environmental impacts
Applicable January 1, 2026, it introduces bonuses from €450 to €1,000 per ton to encourage the use of recycled plastic in certain products (packaging, toys, furniture, etc.). Exclusions: composite plastics, recycled PVC, and low-efficiency processes. It also imposes traceability, recycling within 1,500 km, minimum incorporation rates, and annual monitoring by ADEME.
Why Did They Invest
in REC?
A transformative business model at the intersection of technology and sustainability: a unique technology, a market ready for change, and a measurable environmental impact.
A WORLD-FIRST TECHNOLOGY
REC is the first industrial solution capable of recycling blended-fiber textiles containing polyamide into high-quality recycled material, ready to be reintegrated into the manufacturing of durable products.
A PROFITABLE CIRCULAR ECONOMY MODEL
Our business model is built on the recovery and valorization of textile waste, addressing the rapidly growing demand for recycled and sustainable materials.
A FAST-GROWING MARKET
The challenge: today, 87% of blended-fiber textiles are not recycled. The opportunity: brands and manufacturers are actively seeking sustainable solutions to meet their ESG commitments and circular economy objectives.
A TEAM OF VISIONARY EXPERTS
Founded by professionals from the textile industry and supported by leading French research laboratories, REC is driven by a passion for innovation, industrial excellence, and positive impact.
A TANGIBLE CONTRIBUTION TO ESG GOALS
Leveraging its expertise in polyamide recycling, REC enables manufacturers to transform complex textile waste into high-value resources. This approach reduces carbon emissions, limits reliance on virgin materials, and diverts significant volumes of waste from incineration and landfill. By integrating traceable recycled materials into their products, REC’s partners can strengthen their ESG strategies while actively contributing to a sustainable circular economy.

Beyond
R&D
REC delivers practical, market-ready solutions that companies can implement today:
By replacing virgin polyamide with recycled material, you can significantly reduce emissions associated with fossil resource extraction and polymer production.
This enables you to strengthen your ESG reporting with tangible, traceable, and verifiable sustainability metrics.
REC processes challenging waste streams, including blended-fiber materials, tights, and technical textiles, providing a solution where none previously existed.
This enables companies to divert significant volumes of waste from incineration and landfill while improving their overall waste management and resource recovery performance.
In a context of increasing pressure on raw material availability, incorporating recycled polyamide compounds helps diversify your sourcing strategy and reduce dependence on virgin materials.
This approach strengthens supply chain resilience while contributing to greater cost stability over the long term.
European regulations are evolving rapidly, with increasing requirements related to textile EPR schemes, recyclability, and the incorporation of recycled content.
REC helps you stay ahead of these changes by integrating solutions today that are aligned with future regulatory standards and sustainability requirements.
Integrating recycled polyamide into your products enables the development of differentiated, high-value solutions that align with the growing expectations of consumers, brands, and procurement stakeholders regarding sustainability.
This can be achieved without compromising technical performance, quality, or reliability.
REC operates within a fully controlled value chain, enabling the documentation and verification of material origins as well as transformation processes.
This level of traceability provides a significant advantage for ESG reporting, regulatory compliance, sustainability certifications, and corporate communications, while reinforcing stakeholder confidence in the integrity of your environmental commitments.
Every partnership is designed to align with your specific industrial requirements and operational constraints.
From material qualification and compliance with technical specifications to the co-development of customized solutions, REC works closely with its partners to deliver solutions that meet both performance and sustainability objectives.
By partnering with REC, manufacturers do more than simply reduce their environmental impact, they transform an environmental challenge into a strategic opportunity. By integrating circular economy principles directly into their production models, they strengthen their sustainability performance, enhance resource efficiency, and create long-term value for their business and stakeholders.
