Founded in 2019 in Auxerre under the name Ecollant and established in Joigny since January 2026, REC has strengthened its position as an innovative leader in polyamide recycling. Today, the company is entering a new phase of growth with the industrialization of a pioneering process capable of recovering polyamide from complex textiles that were previously destined for incineration or landfill. In a context shaped by successive crises, supply chain disruptions, and rising raw material costs, a fundamental question arises: why continue to dispose of resources that can still be recovered and reused? Through its proprietary technology, REC provides a practical solution by giving waste a second life and transforming it into valuable resources. The potential applications are extensive and include carpets, rugs, lingerie, sportswear, fishing nets, agricultural protection nets, as well as a wide range of industrial and automotive components, including airbags and certain bumper parts.

Collect
- Establish partnerships with textile collection and sorting operators, brands, and retailers.
- Recover polyamide-containing textile waste from both pre-consumer and post-consumer sources.
- Ensure the sorting and traceability of collected materials.
Recycle
- Extract polyamide through an innovative and environmentally responsible process.
- Separate complex fibres to produce high-quality recycled material.
Commercialize compounds
- Sell recycled polyamide (rPA) compounds and pellets.
- Develop industrial partnerships across the textile and plastics industries.
- Promote sustainable materials to brands and support the improvement of their CSR performance.
Improve R&D Process
- Optimize recycling technologies.
- Improve environmental and economic performance.
- Drive innovation to scale up the industrial process.
A Multidisciplinary
Team
Our team brings together a wide range of complementary expertise, including scientific, technical, commercial, industrial, financial, marketing, and communications professionals. We are also supported by a Board of partners with specialized expertise in finance, chemistry, and the textile industry. This diversity of skills provides us with a comprehensive understanding of the textile value chain. By combining scientific, creative, and industrial perspectives, we develop a holistic vision of the sector and its challenges. It is this complementarity that drives our capacity for innovation. Our multidisciplinary approach enables us to challenge existing models, develop new practices, and remain at the forefront of more sustainable textile innovation.
